Some of the best performances were recorded years ago and distributed on records and tape. As media ages, a recording can suffer from clicks, pops, drop outs and other audio cruft that interferes with listening.

 

My aim is to remove the unwanted artifacts and restore the recording so it is as faithful as possible to the original performance. There is a delicate balance between removing noise and keeping the music alive. I hope that my approach helps you to enjoy and appreciate some of the world’s best performances.
